集天賦及實力於一身的醫生杜樂生，在20年前一場巨大災難中，親身經歷生命無常、體制無情！ 在這場意外中，他失去摯愛的女友與情同家人的精神導師，之後他離開令他失望的醫院體制，隱身在小診所中用自己的方式，化身醫療外送員，搶救緊急患者，爭分奪秒不願放棄一線生機。也透過一次次出動、搶救生命的過程，修補自己內心的創傷與愧疚。 同時，杜樂生與地方綜合醫院的副院長李志豪間亦敵亦友的強強對決，加上處事強悍但內心柔軟的女醫生徐敏安總在關鍵時刻介入；接連不同的醫療事件發生，所面臨種種醫病之間的人情、同僚之間的價值觀及自我的感情認同，讓杜樂生了解他必須重回體制，才能真正改革體制，但這一決定卻也成了20年前大災難真相所隱藏的秘密引爆點……
Dr. Du showed his remarkable talent for medical but experienced uncertainty of life in a disaster twenty years ago. After losing his beloved girlfriend and mentor in the same accident, Dr. Du left the disappointed healthcare system and become an EMT in a small clinic. He never give up any life and also make up his guilt in every service. With his frenemy Dr. Lee and associate Fr. Hsu all around his life in critical moments, He has to deal with patient-provider relationship and life value differences between colleagues.
