Set in a room with a single table, a series of one-on-one collaborative plays blur the line between fiction and reality, allowing audience members to explore the most intimate asepcts of their lives with a professional actor from protagonist Yuan Zijun's theater troupe, who would be, at the audience's requests, playing people the audience members want to converse with - be it their family, friends, or partners. Yuan himself collaborates with four audience members, including a college freshman who's afraid of coming out and confessing to his best friend, a mother who has fallen out with her transgender daughter, a widowed man who lost his partner two decades ago, and Yuan's boyfriend Gu Feng, whom he hasn't seen for three years. Throughout the year, the four audience members will each participate in four performances. Yuan is both an observer and a part of his co-stars' stories. Love blossoms, old wounds heal, new possibility discovered, relatoinship mended. They, including Yuan himself, will eventually find their reconsiliation in theater and reclaim their lives.
