導演Lilu Hsieh, worked as an executive producer in two major TV stations for more than 6 years. Most of her work achieves the highest ratings among primetime TV programs. In 2012, she won first place in the scriptwriting competition held by the Ministry of Culture in Taiwan. In 2014, the TV drama she supervised received five Golden Bell Award nominations, including Best Drama, Best Director and Best Scriptwriter. From 2017 to 2019, she was the writer, producer and director of the TV drama, ‘The Haunted Heart’, which received investment from HBO.

神明待在電子樂園,黑心食物光明販售! 2020年,另一個平行世界的台灣,在電腦螢幕前的點擊瞬間,祖先得到供 養,逝者得到安息,命運現出端倪。台灣自豪的宮廟文化,結合當代藝術表演 ,每年吸引了國際上數百萬的觀光客,只是,八家將的成員不再是人類,是機 器人。 虛化的宮廟活動,產生了許多閒置土地產生爭議,稱為「爭議土地」,爭 議的點在於它應該歸為農業使用還是工業使用,因此,決定以公投來決定。 地主連甲上的兒子連富一與農夫首領林國強的女兒林麗莎,在全台最大的 宮廟舉行婚禮,婚禮上,連甲上和田馨雯(林麗莎母),被暗殺。沈明珍(連富一 母)與林國強隨即因涉嫌殺害配偶被捕。 秘密調查員時光毅和天才駭客施仲心聯手尋找真相,卻發現殺人兇手是政 府,及更多更不堪的秘密! 透過反烏托幫、懸案推理的類型,來表達對土地正義、環保的看法。 以反省的態度處理社會議題,向國際觀眾展現台灣獨具的高科技產業與宮 廟傳統,更試圖建構突破框架的影視美學。
“Under an electronic heaven, polluted food is shamelessly sold at market. Every inch of our land carries this unbearable secret. Who owns justice?” 2020. In this parallel-universe Taiwan, all religious services in temples have become electronic. With just one click, ancestors and the deceased are worshipped and oracles are revealed. Treasured temple history and culture intertwine with contemporary performing art, attracting millions of tourists from overseas. Under the costumes and masks on ceremonial parade, are no longer human beings, but robots. The virtualized temple activities have left much land unused and redundant. The question of which sector will be able to exploit these ‘controversial lands’ is still to be settled – agriculture or the semiconductor industry? A referendum, therefore, is held to decide. Fu-Y is the scion of Taiwan’s biggest landlord. He is betrothed to Liza, the daughter of the country’s chief farmer. It is a union arranged with careful political calculation. The wedding is celebrated in Taiwan’s most grandiose temple. At the ceremony, the bridegroom’s mother and father are both assassinated, and their respective spouses are arrested for murder. Our protagonist, secret agent Guan-Yi-Shi, joins forces with genius hacker, Zhong-Xin-Shi, in an attempt to find the killer. This endeavor leads them to uncover many dirty secrets, not least that the government perpetrated the crime! The genres of dystopia and murder mystery are to fully convey the subject- matter of land justice and environmental issues in Taiwan. The narrative of the parallel universe is to stamp the existence of Taiwanese in the genres: sci-fi and fantasy. Taking advantage of society’s open-mindedness, reflecting on our current sociopolitical issues and setting forth the unique cultural landscape to an international audience, the ambition is, therefore, not only to portray the multilayered, rich and enchanting Taiwanese culture – but to achieve ground- breaking esthetics in cinema.
