The film employs 3D animation and the unlikely marriage of science and music within the storyline to help the audience experience the hidden romance in science.

如何讓科學知識與普羅大眾相互吸引？又能激起閱聽人的好奇、討論、與探究呢？「音樂關鍵字」，是台灣首部以客語發聲的音樂科普動畫微電影，運用3D動畫，建構出一部有故事、有科學、有音樂的影片，因為我們堅信，科學可以很有趣，同時也很感性，讓觀眾感受到生活裡無處不在的「聲音」其實是最浪漫的「科學」。
How to make scientific knowledge attractive to the general public? How to arouse curiosity, discussion, and inquiry in the audience? "Unlocking Music" is Taiwan's first animated micro-film combining music and popular science in Hakka. With the firm belief that science can be both interesting and touching, the film uses the unlikely marriage of science and music within the storyline to help the audience experience the hidden romance in science.
