如果你聽過台灣嘻哈團體《頑童》那你一定聽過DJ Afro,他是臺灣嘻哈圈內資深DJ,身為台灣區2屆DMC個人團體雙冠軍、Red Bull Music 3Style 台灣冠軍,DJ Afro依舊保持低調謙虛的風格,面對每一場演出他都保持著樂觀開放且敬業的態度,在嘻哈的道路上不斷地精進與突破自我。 出生北投的他(郭正男),國小時接觸了街舞開始進入嘻哈文化,當年嘻哈正在臺灣啟蒙發展,這全新的世界引領著他轉動黑膠進入四大元素開始刷碟Scratch的世界。幾十個年頭過去了,他見證了臺灣嘻哈的興衰,如今他已是響徹國際的DJ更是兩個女兒的爸爸,此紀錄片除了坦討臺灣嘻哈文化進程更是探討關於精神文化在臺的深層意義。他是如何將這他喜愛的一切融入家庭之中。嘻哈是他的喜好更是DJ Afro生命中強大的意義。他用黑膠轉動自己的人生,更是轉動臺灣文化的一份子。
DJ Afro was born in Beitou . He was exposed to street dance and started to enter the hip-hop culture when he was born in Beitou. At that time, hip-hop was enlightened and developed in Taiwan. This new world led him to turn vinyl into the four elements and start scratching the world of Scratch. Tens of years have passed. He has witnessed the rise and fall of Taiwan’s hip-hop. Now he is an international DJ and the father of two daughters. In addition to frankly discussing the process of Taiwan’s hip-hop culture, this documentary also discusses the spiritual culture in Taiwan. Deep meaning.
