一個號稱能改變人生、以VR設備來體驗的課程，吸引了單親媽媽、美魔女演員、資優高中生、新創公司負責人 前來。四人在VR中見到他們內心的惡念被具象化的畫面，驚駭不已。想離開，打開門卻發現原本的虛擬場景竟真實出現在眼前，且已身在其中。 在真實化的虛擬世界裡，他們遭受惡念幻化而成的各種攻擊，在大限將至之際，卻又赫然如夢初醒，發現自己 仍坐在VR體驗椅上。難道剛才那些感覺真實的經歷也只是一場虛擬體驗？真假虛實，已難分辨。 回到原本的生活，有人體悟到，面對內心的陰暗必須學會放下，如此才有機會獲得開闊的人生。而那些毫無領悟，仍緊捉執念不放、心懷惡念的人，一轉身卻發現，原來自己仍陷在那個虛擬世界裡，從未離開。
