〈地毯上的情人〉 走投無路的美華搬回母親遺留的房子──當年母親擺脫家庭，在此與女友同居。母親失智後失蹤，母親的情人則孤獨死於眼前的地毯上。美華為了生計，將空房分租給一名在市場擺攤的老婦，兩個沒有家的女人，能否接納彼此的重擔、成為彼此的家人？ 〈黃昏市場〉 小唐拿起椅子砸向爸爸。唐家水果攤在大榕樹下擺了兩代，第三代的小唐就出生在市場裡。他上國小前已能在整個市場裡賒帳，這裡是他最喜歡、自在的地方。周圍的信義商圈一年比一年富麗茁壯，小唐的家卻漸漸分崩離析……爺爺當年為了逃離貧窮北上打拚在市場落腳，爸爸事業情感受挫後回到市場成家，卻害怕老死在這個避風港，而開始酗酒家暴。「逃離」似乎是必然的人生課題。小唐逃得出去嗎？ 〈蟬之夏〉 滿日差點殺了人。在犯罪陰影下出生長大，十七歲以前的滿日彷彿蟄伏在黑暗地底的蟬。被叔叔侵犯後反擊、離家出走、混入幫派，越陷越深。那用冰淇淋將他撞個滿懷的少女樂樂，會是他的救贖嗎？
-The lover on the carpet- Meihwa moves back the house that her mother escaped from home and lives with her girlfriend. Her mother disappeared after she lost her mind, and the lover died along on the carpet. For economic reason, Meihwa rents out a room for an old lady who set up a stall in sunset market. Does the 2 women without home accept each other and the pass then becoming family? -In a Market at Dusk- Don smashes the chair to his father. Don’s family fruit stand sell under the big tree for 2 generations. He is the third generation and born in the market. He can buy on the credit since child, the market is the most comfort place for him. The neighborhood around the sunset market is becoming rich areas now, but Don’s family is getting worse. Each generation has their problems, but “escape” becomes the same issue of their family. -The Summer of Cicada- Manrih almost kills someone. He grew up under the shadow of crimes. Before 17, Manrih likes the cicada live in the dark underground. He fight back the uncle after his violated, he left home and joined the gangsters. He falls in the dark circle until the girl bump into his arms with ice cream. Will she be his redemption?
