作品簡介
梅姐一直追求的，就是個簡單的幸福愛情而已，但是命運好像總是在開她玩笑，一次失敗的婚姻，一個驚天動地的婚外情，一次次的挫折，再怎麼樂天開朗的她還是放棄了。十幾年來，帶著身心失調的兒子弟牯，老人癡呆症的母親，也是一步一步的走了過來。前夫志遠的出現，改變了梅姐平靜的生活。也因為志遠的布袋戲，挽救了梅姐的節目，梅姐感覺到自己追求的幸福好像已經到來。梅姐的節目成功了，卻引來頻道業者的反彈，節目被逼得下架，志遠又發生意外身亡，梅姐心情跌到谷底，決定結束自己悲慘的一生。在海邊，梅姐終於感受到，她一生追求幸福的功課，其實早已實踐並得到了。梅姐趕回家，挽回可能發生的悲劇。
What Mei wants is a simple relationship with someone who loves her dearly. However, fate decides otherwise. After a failed marriage and an immoral affair with a married man, she gives up on life because of one setback after another. For the past decade, she has barely survived with her mentally disabled son, and her mother with dementia.

關於青春期年輕精神病患，母親對孩子「性」方面的無助，也是在這個故事裡會被看到的議題。長照之外，一個追求愛與幸福的女人的故事，「愛、幸福」的感受，是本故事的一個重要內在核心。
Long-term care, a difficult issue:Long-term care is not only related to the elders, but also the mentally disabled. Our protagonist, Mei, has to take care of her dementia mother and her mentally disabled son at the same time. She has survived with her optimistic personality. In the end, she finally realizes that the contentedness in life resulting from the long-term care of her family is in fact what she has been looking for. Maybe we all have to go through everything that comes with long-term care. Since it is something inevitable, maybe we get more than what we give out when we face the responsibility. A mother's helplessness in dealing with the sexuality of her mentally-disabled son in his late teens can also be seen in this story.Besides long-term care, we're also telling the story of a woman longing for love and happiness. This is an important core of this drama.
