故事發生在被污染破壞的海底，空氣及海水都不再適合生物生存，在一處受堆滿廢棄物的海底城裡， 生活著一群基因突變的垃圾機械魚與被人類製造出來清除垃圾的機械魚。 機械魚們以奇妙的構造，在充滿危機的海底城裡，將垃圾視為美食並習以為常，過著趣味荒誕的生活。隨著海費危機四起，機械魚們逐漸認知到真實的海洋不應該是這種樣子。
The time and space background of the story takes place on the polluted and destroyed seabed. The air and seawater are no longer suitable for living things. In this severely polluted abandoned underwater city, there are a group of genetically mutated garbage mechanical fish and humans. A mechanical fish that removes trash. With their ingenious structure, mechanical fishes take garbage as delicacy and take it for granted in the underwater city full of crises, leading an interesting, absurd but thought-provoking life. As the plot progresses, the mechanical fish gradually realize that the real ocean should not be like this.
