Go, Grandpa, Go! is Taiwan's first animated microfilm combining music and popular science. It condenses science knowledge related to sound and music into a short ten-minute story. Use of a lucid and lively plot to guide the scientific principles coupled with an original music score help the audience experience the hidden romance of science.

Go, Grandpa, Go!, Taiwan's first animated microfilm combining music and popular science in Hakka, utilizes a central framework of psychology and music. The film employs 3D animation and the unlikely marriage of science and music within the storyline to help the audience experience the hidden romance of science. Learning should not be limited to subject knowledge and skills. We have targeted young people with the hope of fostering "boundary-crossing competence." We hope this film encourages the youth to participate and get involved in exploring, applying, and experimenting with the science of sound in everyday life. By putting this knowledge into practice, we aim to "break the boundaries between the humanities and science to usher in a new era of integrated learning while at the same time planting the seeds of innovation in the field of education." With the theme of psychology and music, this film deeply analyzes "downbeat low-frequency sounds" in music and how to trick the human brain into causing involuntary movements of our head that improve our sports performance, especially while running. The protagonist of the film is a grandfather who likes listening to traditional Hakka music. One day on a whim, he decides to take on a road race challenge. His grandson A-chen transforms his grandfather's beloved traditional music into electronic dance music. When Grandpa listens to this music while running, his footsteps are effortlessly synchronized with the beat. Running in a regular and rhythmic manner, his fatigue is greatly reduced. In the end, thanks to A-chen, Grandpa's athletic performance improves, and he charges to the finish line!
