Mr. Darcy built his dream home on a pink tree in the forest and lives a quiet life every day. One day, there is an uninvited guest in the forest…… I n the past, Lia-en Lin was a person who didn't care about social trends or issues, and only focused on her creations, just like Mr. Darcy or anyone else around us, living her own "quiet life" in solitude. However, after Lian-en became a mom, she started to change her mind, and began to pay attention to her surroundings and current affairs, hoping to leave a better living environment for her children in the future.

林廉恩
出生和生長於台灣。大學畢業後在偶動畫公司擔任角色與美術設計一年多，離開後才開始畫圖直到現在。擅長使用壓克力顏料、水性蠟筆、複合媒材拼貼進行創作，喜歡畫城市、怪物和植物。創作內容多以當下的感受或是生活經驗為主題。 曾獲得2014美國3X3當代插畫獎及2015、2018波隆那兒童插畫獎。更以其繪本《HOME》奪下2021年「義大利波隆那書展拉加茲獎文學類首獎」（Bologna Ragazzi Award - Fiction）。這是臺灣有史以來，第一次獲得此項殊榮。這本風光橫掃國內外圖書大獎的繪本，同時獲得了「台北書展大獎兒少類首獎」及「金鼎獎兒童及少年圖書獎」。此外，本書亦入圍「義大利波隆那書展拉加茲獎」。

Lian-en Lin
Born and raised in Taiwan. After graduating from university, he worked as a character and art designer at Ou Animation Company for more than a year. After leaving, he started drawing until now. She is good at using acrylic paint, water-based crayons, and mixed media collages to create. He likes to draw cities, monsters, and plants. The content of his creations is mostly based on current feelings or life experiences.

森林就像是未知的社會，蓊鬱而深沉， 達西先生像是我們身邊的任何一個人， 獨善其身的過著自己的「歲月靜好」。 悄悄來到森林裡的不速之客可能是黑暗、是邪惡、是不公平⋯⋯ 在我們不知不覺中，會悄悄的擴張他們的領地， 先是蠶食鯨吞我們的家園， 進而啃噬掉我們的身心靈⋯⋯ 這些所謂的「惡」存在世界任何一個角落， 我們察覺到了嗎？ 或者， 我們並不想察覺到， 畢竟這些不速之客似乎離我們還很遙遠。 那麼，接下來這個世界會變成怎麼樣呢？

What is "evil"? What is "good"? Darkness may exist anywhere in the world. Are we aware of it? Or maybe we just ignore it because the uninvited guests seem to be far away from us? I hope that this graphic novel will become a seed that will germinate in the hearts of the readers, so that we can expand this concept to the society, change the idea of "sweeping the snow in front of our own door", and turn our passion into action, and become a person that benefit oneself as well as others.
