During summer vacation, Wen-Chih helps out at his father's funeral services company. There, he hears a variety of life stories and meets grieving families of all kinds—some sincere and heartfelt, others extravagant and driven by greed. Over the course of two weeks as an “intern farewell guide,” Wen-Chih gains deep insights into family relationships, his own future, and the profound realities of life, aging, illness, and death.

作者 Guang-Fu Li
Guang-Fu Li graduated from the Department of Language Arts at Hualien Teachers College and later from the Department of Language Education at National Hsinchu University of Education. He served as a primary school teacher for 31 years before retiring to focus on writing full-time. He is a prolific author with over 160 published children's books. His works have been nominated for the Golden Tripod Award and honored with the National Institute for Compilation and Translation's Human Rights Education Book Award, the Chiuko Children's Literature Award, and the Recommended by Taipei Public Library Good Books for Everyone, among others.
