Dr. Octopus runs a small clinic on the coast, dedicated to helping disadvantaged and impoverished sea creatures. However, due to the severe pollution and destruction caused by humans, many marine animals suffer from chronic illnesses. Realizing that medical care alone is not enough, Dr. Octopus decides to take action—he organized the “Love Our Home Environmental Patrol,” rallying nearby residents to join in. When everyone contributes even a small effort, it creates a powerful force that can restore the ocean to its original beauty and purity.

KUANG-FU LI graduated from the Department of Language Arts at Hualien Teachers College and later from the Department of Language Education at National Hsinchu University of Education. He served as a primary school teacher for 31 years before retiring to focus on writing full-time. He is a prolific author with over 160 published children's books. His works have been nominated for the Golden Tripod Award and honored with the National Institute for Compilation and Translation's Human Rights Education Book Award, the Chiuko Children's Literature Award, and the Recommended by Taipei Public Library Good Books for Everyone, among others.
