國際通緝犯希萊潛逃至尼歐市，希望能用乾淨的經歷換取安穩的生活，沒想到一抵達機場，就引發一場暴動意外。不明機器人大鬧尼歐市，謎樣少女突然出現又消失，「阿卡西」系統的防護出現疏漏，四名記憶管理局的實習生臨危受命展開調查。而他們發現，他們倚賴的秩序正在分離崩解……
International fugitive Hero flees to Neo City, hoping to trade a clean slate for a peaceful life. However, his arrival at the airport unexpectedly triggers a riot. Unidentified robots wreak havoc in Neo City, a mysterious girl suddenly appears and then vanishes, and the "Akashic" System's defenses show vulnerabilities. Four interns from the Memory Authority are urgently assigned to investigate. And they discover that the order they once relied upon is fragmenting and collapsing...

九十年代出生。台灣推理作家協會國際成員。第十九屆台灣推理作家協會徵文獎首獎得主。 著有《偵探冰室》系列短篇、長篇小說《無盡攻殿》、《千禧黑夜》、《記憶管理局》。二〇二三年以《千禧黑夜》獲得讀墨電子書「這本超好推！年度推理選書」華文作品組第二名、第二屆讀墨年度華文大獎人氣作家Top10、「臺灣大眾人氣小說票選」讀者最愛，入選二〇二四年法蘭克福書展臺灣館主題選書，並售出日本語版權。 除了創作也從事評論活動。二〇一四年開設部落格「我思空間」，不時在上面發表作品評論。目前與獨步文化合作連載專欄「今天獨步獨什麼」介紹日本推理小說評論最新狀況，藉此推廣推理小說評論普及。

Mou Yip
Mou Yip is a reviewer and author of mystery and sci-fi books, and an international member of Mystery Writers of Taiwan. Mou Yip became one of the top winners for the 19th Mystery Writers of Taiwan (MWT) Award for BEST NOVELLA with Requiem for a Thousand Years Later in 2021. Mou Yip and several other Hong Kong mystery writers co-authored the Detective Café series in 2019. Mou Yip also set up The Cogito Space in 2014, a blog where Mou Yip publishes reviews on various works. Mou Yip has also authored “Nine Centuries Later” (in What Happened There and Then) and co-authored (with PureHay from Pure Studio) a novel adaptation of Eternal Palace, a board game that combines Eastern fantasy and Cyberpunk elements. In 2023, the first full-length crime novel, Five Nights of the Millennium, was published. In 2025, the first science fiction novel, Memory Authority, was published.

《記憶管理局》是以充滿娛樂性質及動作描寫的冒險故事，探討未來科技的大幅進展對社會的影響究竟是好是壞？被政府監控的記憶應用，如果是為了正確的事情，是否會形成濫權？AMDS的疫情掌控與近代Covid-19也意外的相似。非典型反烏托邦作品，透過未來的想像樣貌，省思我們的此刻。

Memory Authority (記憶管理局) is an adventure story filled with entertainment and action sequences, exploring whether the significant advancements in future technology will ultimately be beneficial or detrimental to society. If memory applications, monitored by the government, are used for ostensibly correct purposes, could this lead to an abuse of power? The pandemic control by AMDS also bears an uncanny resemblance to the recent Covid-19 situation. As an atypical dystopian work, it prompts reflection on our present moment through its vision of a future society.
