現職插畫工作者，最喜歡的載體是繪本。 畫圖時喜歡什麼都來一點，實驗媒材的可能性。平常喜愛的創作主題自然而然地圍繞著人與動物，世界上最喜歡的角落是貓的肚子與狗的鼻子。期許自己能持續創作溫暖有力、反思生命的作品。 最喜歡的一段話來自星野道夫先生：「我們生活中最重要的環境之一，就是圍繞在人類身邊的豐富生命。牠們的存在不僅療癒了我們，更重要的是，牠們也讓我們理解，人類究竟是什麼。」 畢業於臺灣大學哲學系，作品曾入選2015豐子愷圖畫書獎、2019波隆那插畫獎、2022台北國際書展首獎、2022金鼎獎。近年的作品有：《怪獸媽媽》、《祕密小兔》、《發光的樹》、《大力士女孩》等繪本。

As an illustrator, my favorite medium is picture books. When drawing pictures, I like to use a little bit of everything and experiment with the possibility of media. My typical themes of creation naturally revolve around people and animals. My favorite corners in the world are the cat's belly and the dog's nose. I hope that I can continue to create warm and powerful works that reflect on life. I graduated from the Philosophy Department of National Taiwan University. My works have been selected for the 2015 Feng Zikai Children’s Picture Book Award, the 2019 Bologna Illustration Award, the 2022 Taipei International Book Fair First Prize, and the 2022 Golden Tripod Award. Recent works include: "Monster Mother", "Secret Bunny", "Glowing Tree", "Hercules Girl" and other picture books.

※來一場想像力與遊戲的食物冒險 一隻頭戴香菇帽的吹笛小狗、一群隨著笛聲起舞的菇菇精靈，這些突然出現的奇妙生物，勾起了小男孩派派的好奇心，想加入它們的行列，一起探險去。 途中，派派吃下了各種魔法菇類，讓他得以縮小、變高，甚至飛翔，成功克服遭遇的種種難關。這也改變了派派第一次看到菇類的感覺：顏色髒髒的、有奇怪的味道；他才發現，菇菇原來好好吃喔！ 面對未曾嘗試過的食物，孩子難免會覺得害怕，透過閱讀故事、跟著角色一起經歷冒險，心中的恐懼也隨著笑聲煙消雲散了呢！ 貓魚創作故事的靈感，來自於童話《Pied Piper of Hamelin》，我們也一語雙關的將主角取名為「派派」（Piper）；當然，還有貓魚玩心大起，趣味塑造的另一個主角「菇狗」。快翻開這本書，一起菇哩菇哩～咚！的前進菇菇森林吧！

※Let’s have a food adventure with imagination and games A flute-playing puppy wearing a mushroom cap. A group of mushroom elves dancing to the sound of the flute. These wonderful creatures that suddenly appeared aroused the curiosity of little Piper, who wanted to join them and go on an adventure together. Along the way, Piper ate all kinds of magic mushrooms, which allowed him to shrink, grow taller, and even fly, successfully overcoming the various difficulties he encountered. This also changed Piper’s impression of mushrooms. He first thought they were dirty looking and tasted funny. Then he realized that mushrooms are so delicious! The inspiration for Maoyu's creation story comes from the fairy tale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin". We also named the protagonist "Pai" (Piper) as a pun.
