The Snail’s Slow Philosophy A vivid portrayal of a child’s “slower” world and pace—told tenderly from a first-person perspective. Inspired by moments shared with her daughter, the author captures a child’s thoughts and feelings while adjusting to new environments. Through the gentle image of a snail, the story reflects the quiet strength of companionship and encourages children to find a rhythm that feels right for them. The book’s unique glass printmaking technique beautifully conveys dappled sunlight and a soft, comforting atmosphere, offering both a visual and emotional embrace.
東海大學美術系畢業,現為繪本作家及戲偶造型設計師,藉著可親可愛的日常,將劇場敘事的格局與眼光,透過插畫跟繪本,大大的療育觀者。2005 年來長期和無獨有偶工作室劇團合作,設計戲偶造型。曾出版四季小誌—春夏秋冬四冊,並以繪本《誰要來喝下午茶?》及《小棉花》各榮獲第 28 屆及 31 屆信誼幼兒文學獎圖畫書創作獎佳作。《小棉花》入選 dPICTUS 的 The Unpublished Picturebook Showcase 2。
A graduate of Tunghai University’s Fine Arts Department, she is a picture book author and puppet costume designer. Since 2005, she has collaborated with Puppet & Its Double Theater, bringing a theatrical sensibility to her illustration work. Her stories, rooted in the warmth of everyday life, offer gentle, healing experiences for readers. She published a four-part seasonal zine series and received Honorable Mentions at the 28th and 31st Hsin Yi Children’s Literature Awards for Who Wants to Have Afternoon Tea? and Little Cotton. Little Cotton was also selected for dPICTUS’s The Unpublished Picturebook Showcase 2.
