成功大學台灣文學系博士，現專事寫作。大部分時間是迷迷糊糊、笨手笨腳的小媽媽，唯獨寫作時，覺得自己較聰明些。 希望透過書寫，尋找生命中往返流動的軌跡。著有散文集《我家是聯合國》、《我的肚腹裡有一片海洋》、《孩子的我》及長篇小說《織》。曾獲國家藝術文化基金會長篇小說補助、文化部青年創作補助，《織》入圍2018年台灣文學獎「長篇小說金典獎」。
PhD in Taiwanese Literature, National Cheng Kung University, now specializing in writing. Most of the time, she is a dazed and clumsy little mother, but when she writes, she thinks she is smarter. I hope to find the trajectory of the back and forth flow in life through writing. The author of a collection of essays "My Home is the United Nations", "There is an Ocean in My Belly", "The Child of Me" and the novel "Weaving". He has won the National Arts and Culture Foundation's novel grants and the Ministry of Culture's youth creation grants. "Weaving" was shortlisted for the 2018 Taiwan Literary Award "Single Novel Award".

After her parents' divorce, Internet celebrity Xiaoyu is confronted with a major life decision. Stumbling upon her aunt’s letter alongside five rolls of audio tape, her mother’s past with Ruyue is revealed and she finds a chance for a new life. Zhang Zhixin portrays different responses to the trials of life and the helplessness and perseverance of women faced with hardship and choices, displaying Hakka women’s vitality as they overcome their fates. The magnificent reappearance of Ximending’s Wannian Department Store, Shizilin Building, ice rinks, cafes, etc., are metaphors for this city used to describe the changes in society and the times, the approach of the age of the Internet, as well as the economic impacts faced by business. As brilliant as the sea, brimming with pitfalls, it is a city of vicissitudes and beauty.
