不久後的未來，Loftus研究所開發出一台能夠讀取記憶，並運用虛擬實境技術，讓觀看者能親身體驗他人記憶的機器-「讀腦儀」。 但開發人之一的Dr.Mason並不滿足於此。他開啟研究記憶移植的項目「圓滿計畫」。儘管另一位開發人李博士反對，憤而離開研究所，Dr.Mason依舊堅持開啟這項計畫。 無數次試驗後終於有了突破。第228號實驗對象，對移植的記憶沒有產生排斥作用，唯一的問題是他處於失憶的狀態。為了觀察實驗成果，他被賦予一個虛假的身分，圓滿計畫的執行者，黃俊義。 然而時不時出現的片段移植的外來記憶，還是讓俊義起了疑心。此時一名自稱擁有解答的神祕女子高心燕出現，俊義便答應她的邀約。 沒想到心燕帶他見到李博士。他才知道除了自己，心燕也是圓滿計畫的實驗對象。而心燕也是唯一且意外成功的結果。在逃出研究所後，心燕與李博士聯手，目標是阻止圓滿計畫。 於是想要尋找自己過往的俊義，想要報仇的心燕，以及背負罪惡感的李博士，與Dr.Mason展開一場以讀腦儀為主的爭奪戰。

A man wake up in sweat in a staff lounge. He cannot only recognize this place but cannot recall anything. In this moment, an experimenter who called Zhen Chang shows up and call him Jun Yi. Zhen Chang claimed that they are friends from many years, and explain everything including this is not first time that Jun Yi is amnesia and they are both work for a research institute called Loftus. Zhen Chang show him around in Loftus, including the project they are responsible for, "Consummation Project". The project is using a machine called "brain reader" to experience and change client’s memories by their wishes. On the project’s meeting. He meet Dr. Mason, a serious middle-aged man, a neuropsychology scientist, one of the developers of brain reader. Suddenly, Jun Yi saw a fragment memory that a smile woman stand on a beach. It cause him headache. During the project’s mission, Jun Yi saw the woman on the beach again in a client’s memories. He chase her and cause an error. He pass out and wake up in infirmary. After this mission, Jun Yi staring question his own pass. At this moment. A mysterious woman Xin Yan come out of nowhere, claimed that she has all the answers he is looking for. Jun Yi follow her to a bunker which is under a factory. He meet Dr. Lee, a middle-aged man who is another developer of brain reader. Dr. Lee tells everything. The "Consummation Project" is an experiment of memory transplantation. Dr. Mason started by mystery fund.Jun Yi and Xin Yan both are subject of it. "Jun Yi" is just a code name not even his name. And Xin Yan is the only one successful subject. She was the external memories, another woman who is primary school teacher. But after transplantation, the body’s original memory was disappear, she took over this body. In shortly, her body was a person who is agent, now is her. Her mind is stocking in others body. He does not believe, but he sees many fragment memories about different person’s life. He wants to find out who he is, so he joint their team. The team member has different purpose; Xin Yan, wants to revenge. Dr. Lee, wants to stop Consummation Project because his guilt of he was not stop Dr. Mason at first time. And Ryan, a former U.S soldier wants to find his missing family. But is all in Dr. Mason’s plan. He intentional let Jun Yi to be found by Dr. Lee. Because he need him to help the Consummation Project. He discover the bunk’s location, and sent a team to bring Dr. Lee and Jun Yi back. During the process, Jun Yi is attack by some kind of weapon that knock him unconscious. He is into a dark space. He meet those external memories personality and himself. In the meantime, Xin Yan and Ryan sneak into Loftus. They try to rescue Dr. Lee and Jun Yi, also destroy the brain reader. In the end, Jun Yi realize that they are part on him. No matter they was someone else, they are part of him.
