余秋冬再度從夢中驚醒。夢裡他是個五歲的小男孩，媽媽秀雪牽著他的手，兩人走在回家的路上，突然一輛車疾駛而來，伴隨尖銳的煞車聲。秋冬記得眼前一黑，再睜開眼，他開始看見別人看不見的人影，甚至可以與他們對話，並且帶受困的幽靈移動到他們想去的地方。秋冬因此成為靈界有名的「鬼巴士」，但他卻從未見過因那場車禍而過世的母親。 秋冬原本已經打算放棄尋找母親的亡魂，卻在升上高中沒多久，和一個同樣具有靈異體質的李晶晶成為朋友，並且相遇了一個不知道自己是誰、該哪兒去的孤魂野鬼「鳳大叔」，秋冬無奈下帶著鳳大叔回家，然而鳳大叔卻從照片中認出秀雪，說自己見過這個女人。 秋冬決定找出鳳大叔的身分，他和晶晶攜手，兩人一鬼踏上冒險之旅，一邊應付學校生活，和常常跳出來牽制秋冬的老師簡海凡，一邊又要幫助亡魂完成心願，以取得關鍵線索。最後真相浮上檯面，秋冬才發現原來他、晶晶與鳳大叔的命運，從當年那場車禍開始，就注定要牽扯在一起……。

The drama is based on Taiwanese emerging cartoonist Rimui’s work Where are you going? The drama portrays high-schooler 余秋冬who, at a young age, lost her mother to a car crash. However, this accident gave her a supernatural power: being able to see ghosts and spirits. Not only can she communicate with them, but she can also take lost spirits and ghosts to where they want to go, therefore earning the name “Ghost-bus.” The story beings with 余秋冬’s first day of high school. She meets 李晶晶 who also has supernatural power as her and 孤魂野鬼鳳大叔. The three of them, two human and ghost, begins their adventure. “Ghost-bus” 秋冬 allows many spirits and lone ghosts who have many regrets from their past lives to “board” them. 秋冬finds that she, 晶晶 and 鳳大叔’s fate are destined to be tangled with one another, ever since the car crash from her childhood. The series uses the protagonist’s investigation and final revelation of the car crash as the main plot. The work is filled with suspense and tension, making it a must-watch show. On the other hand, the show uses the original comic’s subtitles: Entangled Memories and Loving Farewell as creative guidelines to rewrite unit stories. The drama captures the warmth, freshness, and humor of the comic, it also uses down-to-earth and close-to-life events to express humanity.
