The first encyclopedia of the monsters of Taiwan! The award-winning Sci-Fi and Historic novelist Ho spent 3 years to compile this encyclopedia. It contains 321 years of monster sightings, from the Age of Sail, Kingdom of Tungning, Qing dynasty rule to Japanese rule. The sightings are from westerners, Chinese, Japanese and Taiwan’s indigenous peoples. Divided into 3 categories—monster, ghost and spirit—each of the 229 monsters is presented with a vivid and fascinating story.
