However, there is this man, wearing dark glasses and a black trench coat, who sits in the corner of the store all night long, night after night. He claims to be an exorcist and asks her to join him for an exorcism.

In order to bring her master "Anonymous Deity" back, Ji Yi-guang has been following the instructions of other deities by helping ghosts complete one million unfulfilled wishes left in the human world. This enormous task of doing good deeds should bring her master back. Ji has wandered and helped in the human world for thousands of years. Now, she works at a convenience store. Other than the daily tasks of stocking up, steaming buns and cleaning the coffee machine, she also provides her service to lonely, wandering ghosts. To her surprise, her good deeds, helping ghosts, has been noticed by a human being! A mysterious man, who wears a black trench coat, laced military boots and dark glasses. He always shows up at midnight. He sits in the corner of the store, holding a large Americano coffee. When Fan Yu-shin takes off his glasses, he looks exactly like Ji Yi-guang's master "Anonymous Deity" who taught and protected her. To find out if they are related, she decides to accept his offer and join him in an exorcism. While working together, Fan Yu-shin begins to fall for Ji Yi-guang. At the same time, Ji completes the one millionth good deed, enough to bring back her master. Fan is gutted. However, it is soon revealed that "Anonymous Deity" died long ago and this good-karma task was a scam. Ji Yi-guang can not take the truth and begins to disappear. She spits out the soul-protecting medicine given to her by her master. The incident triggers memories from the previous life of Fan Yu-shin. He is the "Anonymous Deity" whom Ji Yi-guang had been searching for.
