The Shōwa era was the golden age of Taiwanese fine art. At the time, the Taiwanese master oil painter Yang San-lang was still a teenager. When he made his debut at the Werther cafe in the historic Dadaocheng district, he was already dreaming of becoming a great painter. This comic tells how the young Yang San-lang journeyed to Paris to study, before going on to become the great Taiwanese master oil painter. This is a story about a journey of artistic exploration, imbued with romanticism.

HOM has worked in both the media and game industries. For her, comics is not a dream to pursue but rather part of everyday life. Comics are her way of engaging with the world. She is a hyperactive personality who can never sit still; she likes basketball and being out in the sun. Her works center on ordinary people in the big city; every reader who finds themselves lost in their everyday life and the conflict between their dreams and their reality can find themselves in her work.
