由黃文章( 黃強華)、黃文擇兄弟攜手創立，致力於將臺灣傳統戲曲文化之一的布袋戲傳承並推向國際。一直以來，霹靂也不斷創新，不止於傳統技藝上不斷改良，近幾年更致力於媒體形式的革新。除了三十多年來持續創作不輟的《霹靂正劇》系列，與日本知名劇作家--虛淵玄Nitro+合作之《東離劍遊紀》系列，更是在臺、日都享有超高人氣。霹靂也即將跨足真人影視並積極於內容改作，作為臺灣的老字號IP工廠，霹靂從不甘於既有成就，並企望全世界都能看見臺灣的IP新創能力。
Founded by Chris Huang(Huang Wen Zhang) and Vincent Huang brothers, PILI Multimedia is dedicated to preserving glove puppetry , one of Taiwan's most iconic traditional theater arts, and promoting it worldwide. Ever since foundation, PILI has been staying on top of the times by not only modernizing traditional art techniques, but also committing to producing pupprt theater in the latest media formats. In addition to thirty years of non-stop creativity in the Pili Series, PILI’s collaboration series written by acclaimed Nitro+ screenwriter Urobuchi Gen, Thunderbolt Fantasy, has gained immense popularity in Taiwan, China and Japan. PILI is also prepared to expand into live action productions and looking into content adaptations. As the cradle of classic Taiwanese intellectual property, PILI will never stand still and will continue to popularize Taiwan’s creative content to the entire world.
