鏡電視股份有限公司於2020年成立，新聞台頻道於2022年5月開播。除了各節新聞製播，鏡電視新聞台並規劃各類議題節目，包括：國際、藝文、兒少、深度調查專題報導等內容；內容具六大特色：多元、專業、深度、國際、藝文、弱勢。鏡電視除了製播多元且品質優良的節目內容，同時也關懷弱勢議題，落實尊重多元文化、維護人性尊嚴。
MNews is the first new cable news channel in Taiwan in over a decade. In Taiwan's crowded news media market, MNews stands out because we focus on diversity, culture, and giving a voice to the disadvantaged. "Mirror Doc" is a documentary program with cultural spirits. The program includes in-house productions, commissioned documentaries by Taiwanese independent film- makers, and features short documentaries selected globally. "Mirror Doc" aims to record this era by the brand-new perspectives and unique viewpoints, and explore the phenomenon and context of Taiwanese society.
