Desmond's lifelong passion in media takes him on a 15-year journey from commercializing global sports & entertainment properties in Asia, to launching one of the earliest streaming services, then serving the Malaysian government by attracting foreign media investors, before pioneering the fastest growing Asian digital creator company WebTVAsia, where he is currently heading corporate development of strategic ventures, M&A, investment as well as group external relations. He also had a 2-year stint at Malaysian media conglomerate Astro, driving its new OTT streaming partnership business. A trained engineer by profession, Desmond enjoys continuous learning with a Victoria MBA and was government-sponsored for Stanford University's Innovation and Entrepreneurship professional program.
