Takahashi Toru was the most representative Korean Confucianism researcher in Japan from before World War II to after the war. He was the first scholar to interpret the history of Korean Confucianism systematically. However, his works have not yet been translated into Chinese. This book translates and edits six of Mr. Takahashi's academic works, and selects four research papers written by contemporary Japanese scholars on Korean Confucianism. It is an essential introductory work for the Chinese academic community to understand the research on Korean Confucianism in Japan.
