【編者簡介】 劉亮雅 美國德州大學奧斯汀校區英美文學博士。現任國立臺灣大學外國語文學系特聘教授，曾任臺大外文系主任、臺大臺灣文學研究所合聘教授。主要研究台灣當代文學與文化、英美二十世紀文學、後殖民理論、女性主義理論、同志理論。曾獲國科會傑出研究獎、台灣文學學會傑出學術專書獎。著有《後殖民與日治記憶：二十一世紀台灣小說》、《遲來的後殖民：再論解嚴以來台灣小說》、《後現代與後殖民：解嚴以來台灣小說專論》、《情色世紀末：小說、性別、文化、美學》、《慾望更衣室：情色小說的政治與美學》等書。合著《台灣小說史論》。

台灣青壯作家正值創作力最旺盛的成熟期，本書是第一本對台灣青壯作家二十一世紀小說有深入研究的合集。內容以劉亮雅的導論〈多元新視界：台灣青壯作家二十一世紀小說簡史〉開場，收入曾秀萍、辜炳達、蕭義玲、李淑君、張雅蘭、楊凱麟、詹閔旭七位學者的研究論文。七章以不同的理論和研究方法分別切入郭強生、駱以軍、賴香吟、胡淑雯、吳明益、童偉格、黃崇凱的二十一世紀小說，探討男男情慾、台日情結、歷史書寫、例外狀態、違章結構、倖存者書寫、白色恐怖書寫、環境創傷、生態療癒、悼亡、知識－存有論探尋、媒介記憶等議題。這些多樣的視角和議題展現了二十一世紀台灣青壯作家小說的多元豐富以及新的視野，也深化了對於當代台灣文學的研究。導論則提供一個比較全面的流派系譜與背景地圖，綜論二十一位台灣青壯作家超過五十篇（本）小說。

This collection of essays offers incisive and nuanced analyses of twenty-first-century Taiwanese fiction from a range of critical perspectives such as affective ecocriticism, postcolonial, queer, feminist, trauma, and cultural theories. The seven chapters examine seven acclaimed writers’ thematic concerns such as male same-sex desire, the historical entanglements between Taiwan and Japan, state of exception, illegal structure, personal grief, White Terror, sexual politics, environmental trauma, eco-healing, epistemological and ontological quests, and mediated memory. These varied themes reveal the diversity and richness of twenty-first-century Taiwanese fiction as well as its new pluralistic vision. The introduction provides a more comprehensive study of more than fifty twenty-first-century stories or novels by twenty-one Taiwanese writers.
