《牆外的牆》是一部象徵性的圖畫書，以「牆」來描繪外在環境的限制與內心的束縛。故事中的小女孩曾聽媽媽說，牆外有一片天空，有白雲飄過，還有小鳥飛翔。但她從小生活在被牆圍繞的世界裡，牆有高有低、有大有小。她偶爾透過牆縫看見外頭的腳步。直到有一天，媽媽被帶走了。她踏上尋找的旅程，即使長大後的世界仍是由牆所組成的，卻始終不放棄，去追尋媽媽說過的那片天空。這是一本關於自由、希望與堅持的作品。

A little girl’s mother once told her that beyond the walls, there is a sky full of clouds and birds. But the girl’s world is made of walls. She lives with her mother in a tiny room, and to her, it’s the best place in the world. One day, her mother is taken away. All she sees are more walls and doors. When she wakes up crying, the world is still full of walls. She doesn’t give up. She keeps walking, holding on to the hope of finding the sky her mother once promised. A powerful story about freedom, loss, and hope.
