Every tribe possesses its own unique ecology and worldview. Taiwan's highest mountain, Mount Jade, was known as "Tongku Saveq" by the Bunun people in ancient times. Follow the Bunun mountain guides, porters, and their child Tiang, as we journey into Tongku Saveq, reaching Taiwan's highest mountain—Mount Jade Main Peak. Live in harmony with the humble mountains, listen to the trees singing, and watch the cypress, pine, hemlock, fir, and Yushan juniper race each other. Step onto the stone steps built by the porters with their sweat, and contemplate the relationship between humanity and all living things.

布農族人，來自可以直接眺望東谷沙飛的望鄉部落（現名為卡里布安部落），擅長魔幻寫實風格的創作，創作文類包含了小說、散文、報導文學、新詩以及繪本等，曾獲得台灣原住民文學獎、吳濁流文學獎、全球華文文學獎等獎項，主要作品有繪本《我的獵人爺爺：達駭黑熊》(選入康軒、南一小學國語課文)，以及《我為自己點了一把火：乜寇文學創作集》、《我聽見群山報戰功》、《Ina Bunun！布農青春》、《伊布奶奶的神奇豆子》，奇幻小說《東谷沙飛傳奇Ⅰ：失落的古南島》、《東谷沙飛傳奇Ⅱ：拯救月亮》等。現職為雲林縣立古坑華德福實驗高中教師。

Neqou Soqluman
A member of the Bunun people, hailing from the Wangxiang tribe (now known as the Kalibuan tribe), which directly overlooks Tongku Saveq, this author excels in magical realism. His works covers various genres including novels, proses, reportage, modern poetry, and picture books. He has been honored with awards such as Native Taiwanese Literature Award, Wu Zhuoliu Literary Award, and Global Chinese Literary Award. His major works include the picture book My Hunter Grandpa: Dahai and the Black Bear (selected for KNSH and NanYi elementary school Chinese textbooks), as well as I Lit a Fire for Myself: Mikuan's Literary Collection, I Heard the Mountains Announce Their Merits, Ina Bunun! Bunun Youth, and Grandma Ibu's Magic Beans. Their fantasy novels include Tongku Saveq I : The Lost Ancient Austronesia Island, and Tongku Saveq II: Rescuing the Moon. He is currently a teacher at Gukeng Waldorf Experimental High School in Yunlin County.
