Without exaggerated skills or miraculous comebacks, this work portrays the early passion and trajectory of Taiwanese professional baseball from a fan’s perspective—retracing the footprints of long-lost stadiums and the enduring spirit of the game.
張季雅 來自於嘉義梅山的茶農之家。目前在台北從事漫畫及插畫等創作工作。 2006年以《帶我去球場》系列漫畫發表出道。 2010年夏天開始在CCC創作集上刊載英商約翰陶德及華人買辦李春生的故事,刻畫臺灣福爾摩沙茶的發展史。 2013年出版第一本單行本《異人茶跡:淡水1865》。 2014年以《異人茶跡:淡水1865》獲得金漫獎漫畫新人獎。 2015-2020年間陸續出版《異人茶跡》系列2-4集。 2022年以《異人茶跡4:茶迷大稻埕》獲得第15屆日本國際漫畫大賞入賞(銅賞),同年推出異人茶跡完結篇《異人茶跡5:茶路綿延》。 2023年以《異人茶跡5:茶路綿延》獲得第14屆金漫獎年度漫畫獎。
Kiya Chang Born into a tea-farming family in Meishan, Chiayi. Currently based in Taipei, focusing on manga and illustration work. Debuted in 2006 with the manga series "Take Me Out to the Ball Game". Published the first standalone volume "Formosa Oolong Tea 1" in 2013. In 2014, received the Golden Comic Award for Best New Talent for "Formosa Oolong Tea 1". From 2015 to 2020, released volumes 2 through 4 of "Formosa Oolong Tea". In 2022, "Formosa Oolong Tea 4" won the Bronze Award at the 15th Japan International Manga Award. The same year marked the release of the series' final volume, "Formosa Oolong Tea 5(end)". In 2023, "Formosa Oolong Tea 5" won the Annual Comic Award at the 14th Golden Comic Awards.
