左萱 2015年出版第一本長篇漫畫《神之鄉》獲日本國際漫畫賞銅賞，已售出日、法、義、越南文版權，並授權改編電視劇，於2020年上映；代表台灣參加2017年法國安古蘭漫畫節與德國法蘭克福書展、2022年義大利盧卡漫畫節、2023瑞士洛桑漫畫節。 2017年參與『漫畫植劇場』企劃，繪製漫畫版《五味八珍的歲月》；2022年開始創作長篇作品《芭蕉的芽》，獲第十四屆金漫獎年度漫畫獎；2025年以《芭蕉的芽vol.2》獲第18屆日本國際漫畫獎銀獎。

Zuo Hsuan Published the first full-length comic "Rites of Returning" in 2015, which received the Bronze Award at the Japan International Manga Award. Rights sold for Japanese, French, Italian, and Vietnamese editions; later adapted into a TV drama released in 2020. Represented Taiwan at the 2017 Angoulême International Comics Festival and Frankfurt Book Fair, the 2022 Lucca Comics & Games in Italy, and the 2023 Lausanne Comics Festival in Switzerland. Participated in the “Comic Project for Qseries” in 2017, illustrating the comic adaptation of "What She Put On the table". Began creating the long-form work "The Banana Sprout" in 2022, which won the Annual Comic Award at the 14th Golden Comic Awards. In 2025, "The Banana Sprout vol.2" received the Silver Award at the 18th Japan International Manga Award.

In a piece of good luck, college student Chen Nuan-Nuan ends up paired with her crush, the indifferent but handsome Hsia Chih-Hsun, on a summer research project for her sociology professor. The two are tasked to research religious practices among indigenous cultures – but whose? The usually quiet Hsia suggests they research the indigenous community in Daxi. At their arrival, Nuan-Nuan discovers that this isn’t just a research trip for Hsia – it’s a return home, a trip he hasn’t made in seven years. The two of them conduct research during the build-up to the summer’s Temple Fair, the community’s most important festival, as Hsia tries uncomfortably to untangle the knot of his family’s past.
