馬利為資深文字工作者及編輯，小說作品有《阿鼻劍前傳》卷一、卷二，並擔任鄭問漫畫《阿鼻劍》編劇。繪本編劇作品包括《雪棉》（繪者平凡）及《種子與風》，後者與剪紙藝術家楊士毅共同創作，插畫由王妤璇繪製。楊士毅是多次獲獎的剪紙藝術家、攝影師及導演，作品橫跨多媒材，短片《爸爸的手指頭》曾入圍金馬獎最佳創作短片。他曾擔任Apple台北101旗艦店開幕指定藝術家，創作75公尺剪紙帷幕《有閒來坐》，並與百富、嬌生、德國蔡司等國際品牌合作，另有安平《大魚的祝福》及將軍扇形鹽田《生命之樹》等大型裝置藝術。王妤璇為自由插畫家，曾於巴黎與上海從事平面設計，熱愛以觀察者視角描繪自然生態、演化與行為，透過繪畫重組生物形象，自然與土地的故事是其作品主題。

Ma Li is a senior writer and editor, known for his novels Prequel to Abi Sword and as scriptwriter for the comic Abi Sword. His picture book scripts include Snow Cotton and The Seed and the Wind (co-written with Yang Shi-yi). Yang Shi-yi is an award-winning paper-cut artist and director, nominated at the Golden Horse Awards for his short film Father’s Finger. He created the 75-meter paper-cut curtain Leisurely Visit for the Apple Store Taipei 101 and has worked with brands like Pernod Ricard and Zeiss. Wang Yu-hsuan is a freelance illustrator who worked in Paris and Shanghai, focusing on nature’s ecology and evolution through painting.

The Seed and the Wind is a gentle and thoughtful story created by screenwriter Ma Li and paper-cut artist Yang Shi-yi, with illustrations by Wang Yu-hsuan. It begins with a wandering spring wind falling in love with a seed just about to settle into the ground. As their journey unfolds, the story explores love, freedom, identity, and the balance between holding on and letting go. This simple yet moving tale invites readers to think about how we make choices in love and life, and how we grow through them.
