Realm Guardians — we hail from the “Bureau of Anomaly Management,” serving as public officials who patrol the border between the living and the spirit realms. We maintain the barrier between the worlds, pursue creatures known as “evil bugs” and “gu-tai” that slip through dimensional rifts, and purify the mortal world to protect civilians from spiritual harm. Chi Danjin was born with “spirit sight,” allowing her to see ghosts, vengeful spirits, and malevolent energies invisible to ordinary people. Because of her special gift, she has been connected to the supernatural since childhood. She soon discovered that she could use photography to capture and seal spirits within photos or her smartphone — a realization that also sparked her passion for photography. After graduation, she is invited to join Divine Patrol Photography Studio, a long-time collaborator.
