He enjoys swimming, taking walks, reading, and watching movies. Sometimes he teaches or gives lectures; other times, he writes and draws. At home, he finds great joy in spending time with his two children—one outgoing and lively, the other quiet and shy—whose contrasting personalities inspire him constantly. His illustration style is free and unrestrained, yet always retains a sense of childlike imagination. He is especially skilled at using visual rhythm to build toward the emotional peaks of a story. His works are consistently well-received and have earned numerous accolades both in Taiwan and internationally, including the Hsin-Yi Children’s Literature Award, the Chen Bochui International Children’s Literature Award, the Golden Tripod Award, the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition, and Sweden’s Peter Pan Prize.

小老鼠突然好想吃榴槤，沒吃過的他跑去問其他動物：「你吃過榴槤嗎？」獅子說：「榴槤的味道就像西瓜一樣。」山羊說：「榴槤吃起來和鳳梨一樣好吃。」河馬說：「榴槤吃起來就像芭樂一樣，好吃得不得了！」榴槤到底是什麼味道啊？小老鼠滿懷期待的買了顆榴槤，邀請大家一起來嘗嘗它的神奇滋味！
作品簡介
Little mouse had a sudden urge of durians which he had never tried before. He asked his friends how the fruit tastes like. His friends, who had never tasted the fruit either, all gave him an imaginary, satisfactory answer. When little mouse did get the durian from the market, all his friends was scattered away by the strong smell. Little mouse finally took a bit of durian and found out it's not that bad at all.
