Tzu-Chien Wang is the class favorite—always smiling, adored by everyone. Shu-Fan Lu, quiet and withdrawn, moves through the class like a lone wolf—mysterious and hard to approach. Hsin-Tung Liu is one of the girls in a small social group, always blending into the background. Three seventeen-year-olds, each carrying their own hidden stories. Beneath the smiles, behind the tears, and under the silence born of kindness, their fragile, unspoken emotions are concealed all too perfectly. 王子謙和路書凡從小就是彼此最親密的存在。一個長期遭受父親家暴，一個家境困頓、經常餓著肚子。他們默契地替對方藏住家庭的傷痕，用沉默守護彼此的脆弱。 某天，他們發現同班的劉心彤似乎被排擠。心彤所屬的小圈子正在籌辦生日派對，卻刻意忽略她與壽星生日同一天的事實，只為讓她難堪。得知這一切後，王子謙當場拉著心彤離開，三人私下舉辦了一場簡單卻溫暖的小慶生。 不久後，班上同學得知路書凡無力負擔畢業旅行的費用，擅自幫他募資並將錢交給他。這份「善意」卻讓書凡感到羞辱與反感。就在這段時間，王子謙因父親病重而長期缺席學校。 心彤注意到書凡的異樣，擔心之下跟著他回了家，輕聲表達關心。就在這時，他們收到王子謙的訊息——他的父親去世了。 心彤與書凡立刻趕往海邊，找到站在海中的王子謙。謙終於吐露內心壓抑許久的絕望，問書凡：「你願不願意陪我一起死？」 書凡毫不猶豫地答應了，但隨即反問：「如果我們都有勇氣去死，那是不是也能試著一起活下去？」 這句話，成為將王子謙拉回現實的力量。 對他們三人而言，「活下去」從來都不是一件容易的事。但只要彼此陪伴，也許這段路，就不再那麼難走。
作品簡介
Tzu-Chien Wang and Shu-Fan Lu are childhood friends bound by shared pain—one lives with an abusive father, the other in poverty. They never speak of it, but quietly protect each other. One day, they notice their classmate Hsin-Tung Liu being excluded. Her friend group plans a birthday party but ignores that she shares the same birthday as the guest of honor. Tzu-Chien pulls her away, the three hold a simple, heartfelt celebration of their own. Later, classmates raise money for Shu-Fan’s graduation trip without asking, leaving him humiliated. At the same time, Tzu-Chien disappears—his father is gravely ill. Worried, Hsin-Tung follows Shu-Fan home to check on him. Just then, Tzu-Chien messages them: his father has died. They find him standing in the sea. Tzu-Chien, overwhelmed with grief, asks, “Will you die with me?” Shu-Fan says yes—then adds, “If we’re brave enough to die, can’t we try living instead?”
