一九九二年生，鹿港人。臺大中文所碩士，臺北地方異聞工作室成員。 著有：非虛構作品《必修！臺灣校園鬼故事考》、《特搜！臺灣都市傳說》；小說《蛇郎君：蠔鏡窗的新娘》； 合著《臺灣都市傳說百科》。 參與《性別島讀：臺灣性別文學的跨世紀革命暗語》、《歷史上的刺蝟島：前進全臺十四處戰爭與軍事遺構國定古蹟》、《島嶼拾光．文物藏影──臺灣文學的轉譯故事》、《說妖》系列小說與桌遊等。 對都市傳說進行考證與分析，關注怪談與民俗的現代性、性別議題，希望藉由傳說解讀人心。

Yi-An HSIEH
Born in 1992, from Lukang. Holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University and is a member of Taipei Legend Studio. Author of non-fiction works: Taiwanese School Ghost Stories and Where They Come From and Taiwan Urban Legends and Where They Come From; novel: Snake Husband: The Bride of the Mirror Window; and co-author of Encyclopedia of Taiwanese Urban Legends. Contributed to works such as Reading Sexualities: The Many Faces of Gendered Literature in Taiwan, The Hedgehog Island in History: Advancing to Fourteen National Historic Sites of War and Military Relics across Taiwan, Island Light Collection: The Translation Stories of Taiwanese Literature, and the Legend Has It series of novels and tabletop games. Conducts research on urban legends, focusing on modernity and gender issues in ghost stories and folklore, aiming to interpret human nature through these legends.

《可愛的仇人》是一部以「文獻集」形式包裝的小說集。故事由一位女性歷史學者搜集、翻譯並編輯而成。她因為在展覽中看到描繪牡丹社事件時，日本軍隊擄走排灣族少女「阿台」的新聞錦繪，深受震撼，了解到阿台被擄後送到日本學習日語，回到部落卻遭到排斥的經歷，遂著手整理這些相關文獻。透過這些故事，作品描繪了台灣日治時期女性在權力結構下複雜的處境，展現跨族群女性的情感糾葛與自主意識。

Lovely Enemies is a collection of stories framed as a "compilation of documents." A female historian, moved by the Mutan Village Incident, gathers and translates records about Atai, a young Paiwan girl captured by the Japanese military, exploring alternate fates for women under colonialism.
