One by one, his classmates disappear, and the once-noisy classroom grows quieter and quieter. The grown-ups tell him not to worry. “They probably just moved.” “They’re probably on vacation.” But he remembers the time they spent together, the laughter and the tears, those warm and happy days filled with fun. He misses them, even the moments when they made him angry. He would give anything to relive those days. This time, he would never get mad at anyone. But it's too late for that now. In his thoughts, he floats high above the clouds, where he meets the classmates he lost, like stars shining in the sky. He knows he can see them just by looking up. They haven’t gone away. They are simply watching over him in a different way.
