49 DAYS WITH A MERMAN
This TV series is Taiwan's first production related to the merman theme in recent years.
Introduction
The original is a four cell manga series in which Japanese high school student Tatsumi and merman Wakasa live together. In the adaptation of the production team, the interesting process of the merman entering the campus and running in with the human society is added. Owing to the company and the encouragement from the merman, high school student Lung-Chieh can face his own pain and weaknesses bravely and learn how to live happily. This kind of story direction not only strengthens the bond between Lung-Chieh and Ren-Yu but also enriches the story, and such adaptation has also been approved by the original author and the Japanese licensor.
