In the day time, however, Hank is well-known for another of his interest: he gives out Case Vouchers to his neighbors to help them find lost persons or objects. Hank is often recommended to others, by his regular clients and local police officers because of his high rate of success, solving different types of cases. As clients come to the tavern to query him, he is gradually dubbed the "detective bartender." The cases vary from one to the next, much like the select spirits in Hank's liquor cabinet, which he uses to make customized cocktails for his entrustors. Ke will mixes a cocktail that will tell her what she needs to know. If it is a glass of Nilakantha (Blue Neck) which symbolizes sacrifice and salvation. Partners who no longer talk to each other for no reason are given Vai??rya-prabh? (Light of Glaze) which indicates that only without stirring can they treat each other lovingly. For a murder resulting from hatred, he gives his client Venom of Naga, a metaphor of a mind as evil as a viper. A highly-respected monk who has lost the most precious treasure of his temple is served Amala-vijn?na, which symbolizes that the secret was known from the beginning. Everyone who comes to the tavern, named KARMA, is given a taste of Whisper of ??tavana (the graveyard). As the symbolism of the cocktail suggests, Hank’s clients are able to leave his tavern with the feeling that all of their obsessions, secrets, and sorrowful memories have been left behind.
