Everyone has been in contact with Lu Jianmin, the murderer of random murders, and has inextricable relationships with him. However, none of them ever notice or think about Lu Jianmin’s abnormal behavior and thoughts when those are apparent showcased in his daily life, because everyone is too busy with their own businesses. As days passed by, Lu Jianmin gradually prepared for his own murder plan, and eventually lead to his massacre at the crossroads in the final chapter.
Introduction
People barely think about ""how a killer was made"". Each and every person who trapped in the tragedy has their own lives so ture that they should not be marked easily as ""tragedy-related"". When the raging crowd roaring, calling for justice on the top of their lungs, how should we view the “victim” and the “killer”? The book consists of seven chapters and each chapter of the book use the first-person perspective of each chapter’s protagonist, as the timeline is staggered and tangled, telling a shocking incident of murder. A cynical erotic photographer with a slight anti-social awareness, judges with good morals, a lesbian college student, a third wheel who was struck and began wandering aimlessly, creepy and horny teacher who abducts students, the survivor who feel guilty after undergoing great changes, and the protagonist Lu Jianmin who conduct ""random killing"" at the crossroads in the final chapter. The characters listed above all have connections with the murderer Lu Jianmin, and none of them ever notice or think twice about Lu Jianmin’s abnormal behavior and thoughts when those are apparent showcased in his daily life, because everyone is too busy with their own businesses… The emotion of the characters and the small interactions with each other in each chapter are like pieces of jigsaw puzzles, allowing readers to gradually put them together to get the full picture of the story, while the looming pieces of information in the mirror reflect the relationship between the characters and the incident.
