關於玉山社 1995年成立。 以「創造台灣文化尊嚴」為主要目標， 希望藉由出版台灣人文、歷史、自然的書籍，發揮影響力，建立台灣人的自信與尊嚴； 並且，以台灣第一高峰為名，為參與創辦玉山社所有成員的自我期許。 創社以來，長期受到眾多讀者的重視與肯定，在「文化部中小學生讀物選介」、「好書大家讀」、「金鼎獎」、「Openbook好書獎」等重要獎項、選書多所斬獲，深得專家好評。 玉山社於創社8週年時，調整以「台灣的聲音 世界的眼睛」為出版走向，除了表達台灣的聲音與面貌，更進一步將視野擴及全世界。 期望珍惜我們所生長的土地，同時也開展眼界，看見世界豐富的面貌。
About Taiwan Interminds Publishing Inc. Founded in 1995. Our core mission is to promote the dignity of Taiwanese culture. Through publishing works on Taiwan’s humanities, history, and natural environment, we aim to inspire confidence and pride among the Taiwanese people. Named after Taiwan’s highest peak, Yushan, our publishing house reflects the founding members’ aspirations to reach great heights in cultural expression. Since its founding, YuShanShe has earned recognition and praise from a wide readership, receiving numerous honors in major literary and educational awards, such as the Ministry of Culture’s Recommended Reading for Students, Good Books Everyone Should Read, the Golden Tripod Awards, and the Openbook Good Book Awards. On the occasion of our 8th anniversary, we refined our publishing vision to "Taiwan’s voice, the world’s perspective." This direction expresses Taiwan’s unique identity while also embracing a broader global outlook. We are committed to cherishing our homeland while expanding our horizons to appreciate the world’s diversity.
